Large Linear Giant Magneto-Impedance Response of Microwire Annealed under Liquid Medium for Potential Sensor Applications

Herein, we have presented the giant magneto-impedance (GMI) effect, microstructure and surface domain structure of Co-Fe-based amorphous microwires after liquid medium—anhydrous ethanol Joule annealing (AJA). The AJA technique can effectively release radial stress induce large a circumferential magnetic field by changing heat transfer domain, to further tune GMI performance microwire. linear response fields (0~3.5 Oe), high sensitivity 124.1%/Oe ratio make microwire as promising materials for miniaturized sensors. ratios [ΔZ/Z0]max(%) [ΔZ/Zmax]max(%) increase near-linearly 201.9% 200.5%, respectively, 250 mA anhydrous annealed wires. Moreover, Hex (ranging from 3.5 25 Oe, or more) is observed, which bears potential in fabricating bi-sensors.
